Software Developer
July 2022 - PresentGilpers Engineering & Consultancy Services
- Designed and documented RESTful APIs, implemented input validation, logging, and unit tests, and used Git-based workflows to ship small, incremental changes in an Agile-style loop with business stakeholders.
- Containerized services with Docker and deployed to the cloud (AWS) with environment-based configuration and secrets management; prototyped running similar FastAPI workloads on Azure Web Apps and Azure Functions with secrets in Azure Key Vault.
- Wrote Python automation scripts and microservices to crawl vendor sites, normalize pricing, and feed internal tools; implemented asynchronous processing patterns inspired by Celery + Redis style job queues to keep long-running workflows reliable.
